These are the dress up days for Homecoming:
Tuesday: Blizzard Beach Day
Wednesday: What not to wear Wednesday
Thursday: Pixar/Disney Day
Friday: Crazy Brown and Gold Day
There will be a pajama day on Friday to raise money for prom. Cost is $1.00.Prom tickets will continue to be sold until Wednesday. Couples are $50 and singles $30. Also, if you are bringing a date from a different school please make sure you fill out a dance request form. They also need to bring their drivers license or photo I.D. to prom.
Pick up for the FFA Chicken Dinner held on Thursday, May 6th will be outside of door 6 right by the track meet. Pick-up will be from 3-7 and there will be a limited number of meals sold at the door.
The Varsity Baseball Team got two wins over the weekend with some magnificent play. On Friday, the Bears walloped Eastern Hancock 31-0. Aidyn Coffey got the victory on the mound, but more impressively hit 3 homeruns and drove in 7 runs in the game. Joel Kennedy was 3 for 3 with a homerun and 6 RBIs. Ashton Bandy had 5 hits. In all, the Golden Bears had 27 hits in 49 at bats. Then on Saturday night, the Bears defeated Daleville 2-0. Bryce Deckman pitched a 7-inning no-hitter against a solid Bronco team striking out 13 of the 21 outs. He was just one walk away from a perfect game. Great job Bryce. Kennedy connected on a homerun on Saturday night as well. Great job to the baseball team!
Reminders:
Masks need to be worn at all times covering both your mouth and your nose except for when eating or drinking. By doing so, contact tracing becomes more minimized.
Hats and hoods should not be worn anywhere in the building. Hats should be left in lockers during the school day.
As we approach warmer weather, it’s important that students revisit the dress code in the student handbook to make sure that they dress appropriately for school.
Teachers have been directed to refer violators to administration for possible disciplinary consequences.
