Senior yard sign order forms are available in the office. Order forms are due back to the office by Friday, October 29.

Archery sign up forms are in the office. Completed forms are due back to the office by Friday, October 15.

The Monroe Central Scholarship Fund will be hosting the Sadie Hawkins / Halloween Dance October 30th. Couples or Friends partner up in a themed couple costume or matching outfit. The best most creative couple costume will win a prize! So, start planning your costumes now. Crabtree Photography will also be available for pictures. Order forms are available in the front office.

FFA Members, The Fall Social Chapter Meeting will be on October 11th at 6:00 pm in the Ag Shop. If you are interested in attending please sign up on the Ag room door. There will be fall-themed food and games.

It’s SOCKtober! The Anchor Club is collecting new socks, hats, and gloves for the Journey Home in Winchester. Please bring donations to the tote in the front office!

The Golden Bears junior high football team lost last night to South Adams 41-30 closing out their season with a record of 2-3. Your coaches look forward to seeing you all continue to grow as a team and as individuals. Pad return and locker room cleanout will be immediately after school at the cleathouse.

Joke of the Day:

It should be noted that Ms. McClung’s 8th period 7th grade Art class was certain that I would fail their test yesterday. Having had no preparation towards it, I earned a 75% C on the test for which I was pretty proud of actually. However, everyone in the class still beat me, so I must publicly say that I am not smarter than a 7th grade art student. Great job to the class. I guess I am now the joke of the day – HaHa
