The Golden Bear Football team won at home on senior night against Purdue Poly 52-0. The Bear defense pitched it’s 5th shutout of the season while the offense was able to play a clean game with zero turnovers. That puts the team at four on the season through 8 games. This includes zero fumbles lost on the season. There have been three occasions where the ball was lost but recovered by the good guys, this is an impressive stat. Special teams standouts include kick cover performances by Brylon Case, Ryder Bowlin,Jai Ullom and an MVP night of covering kicks for Jonah Jones. Congrats to “Kicking Bear” Elijah Taylor with 7 PAT’s and one 32 yard field goal. Much thanks goes out to our 2021 football seniors and the student Bear Club cheer block.
