All Junior High Academic Team students competing at the Delta Invitational tonight need to be ready to leave the school today by 4:00 p.m. Contact your coaches or Mrs. Braswell if you have any questions. Good luck!

Attention Football Players, grades 7-12. There is a meeting scheduled during LITE period on Thursday to bring order for the upcoming season. The meeting will be in the big gym.

Monroe Central Theatre Department would like to invite you to Be Our Guest this weekend for the Beauty and the Beast Jr. performances this Friday and Saturday at 7:30p and Saturday and Sunday at 2:30p. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults, sold at the door.

JUNIORS: Randolph County United is coordinating paid internships for students next year. You will receive high school credit for these internships as well! Applications are due on Friday, April 8th. There will be a cheerleading clinic to prepare for the 2022-23 cheerleading season from 4pm-6pm on April 11-14 in Hall Gym.

Cheer tryouts will be on April 15th in the Main Gym starting at 6pm. Cheer packets are in the office.

There will be a meeting with ALL sophomores during activity period on 4/13/22 to discuss our upcoming fundraiser.

Wear red, white, and blue for $1 on April 14th to raise money for the Journey Home.

Attention seniors – Jostens will be here on April 18th during lunch from 11:20am – 1:30pm to pass out caps and gowns.

National Honor Society is hosting a Blood Drive on April 26, 2022. Sign up in Student Services.

Todd Young, U.S. Senator for Indiana will be hosting a Virtual Academy Day Thursday, April 28.
This is for students interested in any of the military academies. See Mrs. Swift in Student Services for more information.

EDMENTUM STUDENTS: ALL Edmentum discussions will be due by May 13th and Unit Activities will be due by May 20th. All computer-graded tests will be due the last day of school, May 26th. No discussions or unit activities will be graded after this date. If you don’t finish your course with a passing grade by May 26th, you will be asked to attend summer school to finish or start the course over again next school year.

The 2022 Monroe Central Jr- Sr Prom will be Saturday May 14th, 2022 from 8pm-11pm at The Wedding Factory in Albany, IN. This year’s theme is “Enchanted Forest.” The Grand March will begin at 4pm & all those wishing to participate should arrive at the school at 3:15pm. After-prom will follow and begin at 11:30 pm and end at 1:30am here at Monroe Central.

Please fill out a guest request form if you intend to bring someone from another school. Those forms are available in the front office and should be submitted no later than May 12th.
Prom tickets will be sold two weeks before the event and the cost is as follows: Single ticket/ $35.00 and a Couple’s ticket/$50.00.

Monroe Central will once again be hosting IHSAA sports physicals this June with Dr. Lumpkin. We have two dates available but will fill the June 9th date first before using the June 16th date. The cost is $20 and must be paid when signing up with Mrs. Murray in the HS office.

SENIORS AND ANYONE GRADUATING WITH THE CLASS OF 2022: One baby photo and one current photo of each of you needs to be turned in for the graduation video. These must be submitted by Thursday, March 17th to goldenlensphoto21@gmail.com (Also, if you have any photos or videos of multiple members of the class of 2022 from any year K-12, you are encouraged to send these in as well).

Any groups interested in volunteering at the Parker City ball diamond in concessions, please contact Becky in the HS office.
