Recently the area FFA crops, forestry, and entomology CDEs were held in Wayne County and we had participants in all 3 areas. Representing MC for crops was the team of Megan DeVoss, Makayla Daniels, Hayden Trego, and Andi Watson who placed 3rd and are eligible for participation at the state contest at Purdue. Hayden and Andi placed in the top 5 as individuals. In the entomology contest, Zoie Hood placed third individually and qualified for the state contest on Dec. 10th at Purdue as well. Also taking place was the forestry judging competition with Brooklyn Slaven, Lucas McCord, and Will Meranda participating and finishing in a strong 12th place finish. Congratulations to all the participants on your hard work!
