Any student who hasn’t picked up their yearbook yet, please see Mr. Sims in room 108.

Students in grades 9 through 12: Please log on to schoology and vote for your class representatives for homecoming. Last day to vote is Wednesday after Lite period.

After school tutoring starts today and will be every Tuesday and Thursday.

The January FFA chapter meeting will be Wednesday, Jan. 11th after school at 3:30 pm. Come to the meeting and help be a part of 2023!

The Monroe Central 7th grade Boys Basketball team picked up their 10th win of the season Monday night on the road at Blackford, 48-25. Another strong second half and all around team effort helped the Bears pull away. The Bears were led in scoring by Luke Morgan with 22 and Myles Oliphant and Jed Ferguson each added 6. The Bears are back in action Thursday at home, as they host the Quarterfinals of the MEC tournament.

Golden Bear wrestlers dominated on the mat and won 5 of 6 matches, but unfortunately still lost the dual against Madison-Grant. Madison-Grant 54 over Monroe Central 22. MC next up, Saturday, Jan 14th at Randolph County tournament at Randolph Southern. Winners for MC @160 Cade Goodrich by fall, @170 Jerimiah Ullom by fall, @182 Hunter Page by major decision, @195 Kolten Tinsman by fall, and in Exhibition @182 Jacobe Butler by fall.

The JV Boys Basketball team fell to Winchester 41-55 in the JV Randolph County Championship. Jackson Konkle led the way with 12 points, Carter Wheatley 9 points, Josh Swearingen 6 points, and Carter Duncan with 5 points.
