Daily Announcements 5/16/2023
Attention Students – You may want to start cleaning out your lockers. While we will have time on the last day of school to do this, it’s probably a good idea for some of your hoarders to start taking some things home before that. The only thing that should be left in lockers on the last day of school are chromebooks and chromebook chargers.
Juniors – Please fill out the senior trip survey that was posted on the Class of 2024 page in Schoology.
Sports physicals with Dr. Lumpkin will be offered at the high school on Thursday, June 8th. Cost is $20 and must be paid before signing up. Please call or stop in the high school office to sign up and pick up a sports physical form.
Attention, those interested in running high school cross country in the fall. There will be a parent and student/runner meeting on Monday May 22nd at 6:00pm. We will meet outside at the south end of the track at the concession.
The Randolph County Law Enforcement Association will sponsor a Youth Leadership Camp on June 19 through June 22, 2023 for students 11 to 15 years of age. Please pick up a camp application in the office.
The class of 2025 is putting on a “pie a staff member in the face” fundraiser this week. There will be one teacher selected from the Jr. High and one from the High School. Donate to a staff member’s jar at lunch to see them get pied on Friday, May 19th.
Yearbooks for the 2022-2023 school year are still being sold. Thanks to a community donation, one student who orders before May 22 will be drawn to receive a FREE YEARBOOK. MC lost a great pitchers duel today as the first run didn’t cross until the top of the 5th. Easton Foster went deeper in the game than he has all season not allowing a hit until the 4th inning. Unfortunately the SA starter was at the top of his game as well and went the distance.
