There is a blood drive today from 9am – noon in hall gym. Students who are 17 and up can sign up last minute. Please contact Mrs. Ulrey for more information.
Students in grades 9-12: Please remember to get on schoology and vote for the harvest king and queen representatives for your class. Voting will end on Thursday, Sept. 7 at noon.
There will be a Harvest Homecoming semi-formal dance for students in grades 9-12 on Saturday, September 23rd from 7-10pm in the high school cafeteria. Tickets will be sold at the door, $15 for couples and $8 for singles.
After school help will be every Tuesday and Thursday. This is for all grades and all subjects. It will be held in room 118 for the next two weeks.
MCCTA is still selling beef sticks before school and after school in the junior high and high school hallways (outside room 110) and in Mrs. Van Pelt’s room.
The Lady Bears golf team was defeated by Delta Tuesday night at Hickory Hills 175-224.

The Bears play Northeastern on Wednesday at Hickory Hills. Come out and support the Bears on Senior Night.
The lady bears volleyball teams took on the Winchester Falcons at home in the bear den Tuesday night. JV fell short, losing in two. Raegan Quattlebaum led with 2 kills, 3 aces, and 5 digs. Angie Burress also had 5 digs. Varsity had a big win taking the Falcons to 4, bringing home the spike. Maggie Haney led in kills with 12, Liz Chamberlain leading with 5 blocks, 4 aces, and 12 digs. Sophia Bolton had 10 assists, and Aubrey Johnson led with 15.
The lady bears travel to Alexandria on Wednesday Sept 6th to take on the Tigers. JV starts at 6.
