Daily Announcements 9/13/2023

Suicide Prevention week is this week: There will be a guest speaker today who will be speaking to all students in grades 6-12th during a convocation in the gym. The message from the guest speaker is suicide awareness and she will be sharing her own personal experience with all of you. The convocation will begin at 1 p.m.

This evening at 6 PM, the guest speaker will also be speaking at our Mental Health Community event. At this event, there will be not only a guest speaker but also multiple resources around our community that will be present for families to get information and ask questions. This event is a great way to spread awareness and show our community just how many resources are available to them that they may not already know about. We hope to see you all there and that you bring your families.

Anyone interested in joining the Monroe Central Radio Club: There will be a table set up during lunch on September 22nd with more information. The radio club will start meeting on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month starting in October from 5-7pm in room 106.
