What do we offer?

We offer a variety of pre-k options ranging from an accelerated full day preschool experience to a pre-k readiness room. Our preschool programs range from half day programs for children 3-5 years old with special needs up to a full day, rigorous program designed to get children prepared for kindergarten. For intervention, children must qualify as a result of an educational evaluation. This evaluation is provided FREE of charge. Preschool screenings are available in order to determine the need for an educational evaluation.

We have 4 preschool options available:

Option 1: Pre-Kindergarten Room:

Full school day experience with an accelerated academic pace for children 4+ years on or before Sept. 30th. This is a TUITION ONLY classroom with a daily cost of $25, paid monthly. *This option requires a $450 deposit to hold your child’s spot. Registration DOES NOT guarantee your spot.* Deposits may be submitted at the MCE front office.

Option 2: Pre-K Readiness Room:

Half day afternoon experience for children 4+ years on or before Sept. 30th. Children qualifying for special education services will attend at no cost, typical peers will be $125 each month.

Option 3: 3/4 Preschool Room:

Half day morning experience for children 3+ years on or before Sept. 30th. Children qualifying for special education services will attend at no cost, typical peers will be $75 each month.

Option 4: 2/3 Preschool Room:

Half day morning experience for children when they turn 3 during the school year (after Sept. 30th). Children qualifying for special education services will attend at no cost, typical peers will be $50 each month.

Who is Eligible?

If you suspect that your child has a delay in pre-academic skills, language skills, motor skills, social skills, or self-help skills, you can request a FREE development screening. If the results of the screening indicate possible delays, children are evaluated by professionals using standardized tests, observation, and parent interview. The results are then reviewed by the parent and evaluators to determine if an area of eligibility exists.
Typical peers who do not qualify for eligibility may also apply, but will need to pay the monthly fee.

Cost?

Students who qualify for Speech/Language services or Developmental services attend FREE.

Typical peer spots are available for a monthly fee.
