Bear Daily Announcements 02/07/2025

Candy Grams!! The Class of 2027 will be selling candy grams during lunch time until Wednesday, Feb. 12th. Stop by to pick out your candy and have it sent to your special someone or friend. Candy will be $2 a box.

The Junior High Winter Dance will be on February 15th from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are $6 per individual or $12 per couple. Dance request forms are due back to the school by Wednesday, February 12th.

There will be a Semi-Formal Sweetheart’s Dance on Saturday, February 22nd from 7p-10p. This dance is only open to grades 9-12 and will cost $10 for a single ticket or $15 for a couple’s ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the door. If you are bringing a guest who doesn’t go to our school we must have a signed dance request form back to the office by Wednesday, February 19th. 

Attention Seniors who are participating in any clubs/sports your senior year: Senior night will be on Tuesday, February 25th, between the JV and varsity boys basketball games against Union City. Please stop by the office and pick up a senior night form. Forms need to be returned to Mrs. Murray by Tuesday, February 18th. 

There is an additional Second Harvest field trip for High School students on March 19th. If you would like to volunteer please sign up in student services or send Mrs. Antrim a schoology message.

Juniors: The Randolph County Youth Salute Nomination forms are now available in Student Services. To qualify for the Leadership Salute, a student must: 

  1. Be a high school junior (Class of 2026)
  2. Have served in a position of leadership in a school, church, or community-sponsored organization during the last three years

Please pick up a form in Student Services and reach out to a staff member for their nomination. All forms are due back to Student Services by March 3rd. Please see Mrs. Moran with any questions

5 Star Driver Education is offering driver education. Stop by the office to pick up an information sheet or go to www.fivestardrivered.com

After school tutoring will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4pm in room 115 or 118.

The Varsity Boys traveled to Union for a varsity only conference game. The boys came out strong and went into halftime up 43-8. The team played hard in the second half and won 63-21. It was an all around effort for the boys offensively and they played solid team defense. The varsity team improves to 11-5.
