The weight room will be closed for students after school today.
JH Track will start on March 10th. They will meet after school in the high school cafeteria. They will have practice Monday through Friday until they start having meets. Once the meets start they will not practice on Fridays.
Candy Grams!! The Class of 2027 will be selling candy grams during lunch time until Wednesday, Feb. 12th. Stop by to pick out your candy and have it sent to your special someone or friend. Candy will be $2 a box.
The Junior High Winter Dance that was scheduled for this Saturday, February 15th has been postponed to a later date. More information will be provided soon.
FFA Dress up days/activities for next week:
February 18, Tuesday – Farmers Day Off (pajamas) Tractor drive in and parade.
February 19, Wednesday – Camo day. Truck drive in.
February 20, Thursday – Country vs. Country Club
February 21, Friday – Blue and Gold (shortened schedule for ag olympics)
There will be a Semi-Formal Sweetheart’s Dance on Saturday, February 22nd from 7p-10p. This dance is only open to grades 9-12 and will cost $10 for a single ticket or $15 for a couple’s ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the door. If you are bringing a guest who doesn’t go to our school we must have a signed dance request form back to the office by Wednesday, February 19th.
Attention Seniors who are participating in any clubs/sports your senior year: Senior night will be on Tuesday, February 25th, between the JV and varsity boys basketball games against Union City. Please stop by the office and pick up a senior night form. Forms need to be returned to Mrs. Murray by Tuesday, February 18th.
There is an additional Second Harvest field trip for High School students on March 19th. If you would like to volunteer please sign up in student services or send Mrs. Antrim a schoology message.

Juniors: The Randolph County Youth Salute Nomination forms are now available in Student Services. To qualify for the Leadership Salute, a student must:
- Be a high school junior (Class of 2026)
- Have served in a position of leadership in a school, church, or community-sponsored organization during the last three years
Please pick up a form in Student Services and reach out to a staff member for their nomination. All forms are due back to Student Services by March 3rd. Please see Mrs. Moran with any questions
5 Star Driver Education is offering driver education. Stop by the office to pick up an information sheet or go to www.fivestardrivered.com
After school tutoring will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4pm in room 115 or 118.
The varsity Golden Bears got out to a slow start against South Adams but went on a nice run in the second quarter to give themselves a 34-18 lead at halftime. The Bears played a great second half on both ends of the court and won the game 67-31. The team was led in scoring by Easton Foster with 22. He was followed by Ullom with 12 and Morgan with 10.
The JV Golden Bears fell Tuesday night to South Adams 43-29. The Golden Bears fought hard and were within 7 points of South Adam’s for the majority of the game. The Golden Bears as always received great contributions from all team members.
