Bear Daily Announcements 02/25/2025

Senior night is tonight! Parents and students who are being recognized need to be at the high school by 6:30pm. You will meet in hall gym after the 3rd quarter of the JV game and will be recognized between the JV and varsity games.

Reminder to students who cadet teach at the elementary school – you are expected to go to the elementary school regardless of any delays or change in schedule. 

Wear your Challenge Day T-Shirt and get a sweet treat on Tuesday, March 4th during lunch! 

Bring Change to Mind week is next Week March 3rd – 7th! We will do things throughout the week to spread mental health awareness. Here are a few things to remember:

Wednesday, March 5th we will have a trivia game (that you will get from your 1st hour teacher). If you turn in the trivia game and get the answers right you will get a treat. 

Thursday, March 6: Dress in Purple and Teal (Suicide awareness colors). If we have 50% or more of the school dressed up then Mr. Middleton and Mr. Klein will be taking a pie in the face during Lunch on Friday, March 7th. 

These activities are for both High School and Junior High. 

Seniors going on the senior trip – Your first payment of at least $175 is due by Friday, February 28th. Please bring your payment to Becky in the office.

Juniors: The Randolph County Youth Salute Nomination forms are now available in Student Services. To qualify for the Leadership Salute, a student must: 

  1. Be a high school junior (Class of 2026)
  2. Have served in a position of leadership in a school, church, or community-sponsored organization during the last three years

Please pick up a form in Student Services and reach out to a staff member for their nomination. All forms are due back to Student Services by March 3rd. Please see Mrs. Moran with any questions

JH Track will start on March 10th. They will meet after school in the high school cafeteria.  They will have practice Monday through Friday until they start having meets. Once the meets start they will not practice on Fridays.

There is an additional Second Harvest field trip for High School students on March 19th. If you would like to volunteer please sign up in student services or send Mrs. Antrim a schoology message.

5 Star Driver Education is offering driver education. Stop by the office to pick up an information sheet or go to www.fivestardrivered.com

After school tutoring will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4pm in room 115 or 118.
