FFA seniors  – pick up senior forms including senior spotlight and senior banner from Mr. Weiler and return by April 16th.

The MCHS Art Club is hosting a Cookies & Canvas painting event on Monday, April 21st from 5-7pm before the spring band concert! Tickets are $20 for participants 13+, $10 for ages 8-12, and FREE for children 7 and under with the purchase of a full priced ticket. Ticket prices include a canvas, materials, painting lesson, and refreshments. Washable and kid friendly art activities will be provided for children 7 and under. Make it a night of fine art fun with the whole family and enjoy the band concert afterwards at 7:30pm! 

Any FFA member that will be in high school during the 2025-26 school year and is interested in being a high school officer, applications are available and can be picked up in either Ag classroom. They are due back April 18th. Good luck!

The Art Association of Randolph County is hosting their annual High School Art Show! All high school students are encouraged to submit up to 2 artworks to show the creative spirit of Monroe Central. Categories for artwork include: drawing, painting, photography, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, graphic design, and recycled art. Artworks must be submitted to Ms. McClung by Wednesday, April 23rd. See Ms. McClung with any questions.

Do you have a picture from a school event that you want to share? Please share it with the Yearbook Club! Your photos could be used in this year’s yearbook.

5 Star Driver Education is offering driver education. Stop by the office to pick up an information sheet or go to www.fivestardrivered.com

After school tutoring will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4pm in room 115 or 118.

The Jr High Lady Bears softball team ended their opener with a loss to the Lady Patriots of Jay County. Hitting for the bears was 8th grader Lucy Houston and 7th grader Izzy McGrath. The lady bears will face their next opponent on Tuesday at New Castle. First pitch is at 5:30.
