There will be an FFA Chapter Meeting on Tuesday, January 28th! Come join us by signing the page on Mr. Weiler or Ms. Wimmer’s door for pizza and bingo.

Legacy week dress up days are as follows:

Friday – Wear brown and gold for Monroe Central school corporation.

The 2025 Winter Homecoming Dance will be after the boys JV/varsity basketball game on Friday, January 31st until 11PM. This dance is open to grades 7-12 and will cost $5 at the door. If you are bringing a guest who doesn’t go to our school we must have a signed dance request form back to the office by Wednesday, January 29th.

On Sunday February 2nd, from 10AM to 5PM, the annual IPMG/Special Olympics basketball invitational will be held at Monroe Central High School. Special Olympics is looking for volunteers in various opportunities such as being a referee, score keeping, runners, clean up, concessions, etc. If you’re interested in volunteering, all day or half day, please send Mrs. Wines a message through Schoology or see her in room 144 to sign up.

After school tutoring will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4pm in room 115 or 118.

The weight room will be open for students after school on Monday through Thursday each week from 3:15-4:15pm. 

5 Star Driver Education is offering driver education. Stop by the office to pick up an information sheet or go to www.fivestardrivered.com

The 7th grade Lady Bears played the first round of the MEC tournament last night traveling to Selma and beating the Braves 42-7. Ada Wagner and Bristol Goad didn’t get in the scoring column but played outstanding defense to contribute to the win. The Bear’s balanced scoring was paced by Mila Morris with 9, Claire Cheesman 8, Mati McConnell 7, Izzy McGrath 6, Brynlee Dumpert 5, Gracie McCreery 3 and Landry Taylor and Lillie Moery 2.
