Auditions for the Spring Musical have been postponed until further notice. Expect new audition dates announced soon. Ms. Miner apologizes for any inconvenience, please reach out to her with any questions.

Senior shirts will be available for pick up in the office during the day or evenings while working on decorations. The cost is $10.00 & if you write a check make it payable to MCHS.

Seniors – The senior group picture will be taken this Friday at 11:30 in the gym. Please wear your senior shirt!

Class of 2025 will be staying after school Tuesday and Wednesday until 5:30 to work on Homecoming decorations. Thursday evening we will be staying until the hallway is decorated. If you’re planning to help decorate the hallway you must come at least one day to help work on decorations.

There will be a call-out meeting during LITE on Thursday for any junior high student interested in joining academic team. Message Mrs. Braswell with any questions.

There will be a Homecoming dance this Friday after the boys basketball game until 11pm. Cost is $3. If you plan on bringing a student from another school, please fill out a dance request form.

On Saturday 2/12/22, Monroe Central will be hosting the 6th Annual IPMG/Special Olympics basketball invitational from 9AM to 4PM. Volunteers are needed for the following: referees, table captains, scorekeepers, runners, clean up and so much more so if you’re interested in volunteering, please see Mrs. Wines in room 144 for more details. Any help is appreciated!

Varsity Wrestling County Tournament Team Results: MC lost to Winchester 33-42, MC defeated Union City 41-30, and MC defeated Randolph Southern 66-6. Individual Results: 113 Lane Dance – 3rd place, 126 Landon Tinsman – 3rd place, 132 James Daniels – 2nd place, 138 Zach Thomas – 2nd place, 152 Peyton Tinsman -3rd place, 160 Jonah Jones – County Champion, 170 Jerimiah Ullom – 2nd place, 182 Hunter Page – County Champion, 195 Kolten Tinsman – County Champion, 220 Joel Kennedy – County Champion, & 285 Brady Hiatt – County Champion.
