Tuesday’s junior high dress up day winners were Ivy Phelps and Lucy Houston.
Wednesday’s junior high winners were Xavier Clark and Faith Fritts.
High School winners are Grant/Gabe Rees and Sydney Patterson.
These are the results after 2 dress up days.
6th place:8th grade
tied for 4th:9th and 11th grades
tied for 1st: 7th, 10th, and 12th grades
Volunteers are needed for the Archery State Qualifier!! The Archery State Qualifier is scheduled for Saturday, January 27th, at MCE. Thirteen teams have signed up so far – almost 300 archers! We need volunteers to enter scores into a spreadsheet after each flight. The first round of scores would need to be entered around 8:30 am, and the final round should be around 3:30 pm. Homecoming dress up days:
Friday – Crazy brown and gold day
The 2024 Winter Homecoming Dance will be after the game on Friday 1/19 until 10:30PM. This dance is open to grades 7-12 and will cost $5 at the door. If you are bringing a guest to the dance you will have to have a guest request form on file in the office for this year.
During homecoming week there will be a Bear Necessities competition! Donations such as hair care, body care, oral care, and feminine products will be accepted. There will be boxes in the cafeteria for each class’s donations!
Class of 2025 will be staying after school tonight until 5pm. Please message Mrs. Meranda if you will be staying.
There will be a Sweetheart’s Dance on Saturday, February 10th from 7-9pm for students in grades 7-12. Cost is $8 per person or $15 per couple. Tickets will be sold at the door the night of the dance. Dance request forms for students who do not attend MC are due back by Wednesday, February 7th.
After school tutoring will start back on Tuesday, January 23rd.
The MCCTA (Mrs. Van Pelt) is selling granola bars, 2 bars for $1.
