Senior shirts will be available for pick up in the office during the day or evenings while working on decorations. The cost is $10.00 & if you write a check make it payable to MCHS.
Seniors – The senior group picture will be taken this Friday at 11:30 in the gym. Please wear your senior shirt!
Class of 2025 will be staying after school until the hallway is decorated.
There will be a call-out meeting during LITE on Thursday for any junior high student interested in joining the academic team. Message Mrs. Braswell with any questions.
There will be a Homecoming dance this Friday after the boys basketball game until 11pm. Cost is $3. If you plan on bringing a student from another school, please fill out a dance request form. FYI – Homecoming dress up day winners and the class court representatives get into the dance for free!

Indiana Youth Cadet Law Enforcement Academy has opened registration for the week-long camp that will be held July 17 – 23, 2022. This is open to boys and girls currently in grades 9 thru 12. Please see Mrs. Swift in Student Services for more information.
On Saturday 2/12/22, Monroe Central will be hosting the 6th Annual IPMG/Special Olympics basketball invitational from 9AM to 4PM. Volunteers are needed for the following: referees, table captains, scorekeepers, runners, clean up and so much more so if you’re interested in volunteering, please see Mrs. Wines in room 144 for more details. Any help is appreciated!
The Lady Bears hosted the Wapahani Raiders last night in their annual Breast Cancer Awareness game. The Bears fell to the Raiders 44-41. It was a great night in the Bear Den celebrating former Monroe Central stand out, Lori Reed. The Bears fought hard on both ends of the floor for 32 minutes matching Wapahani play for play, unfortunately the Bears came up 1-2 possessions short at the end. Alex McGrath and Addy Puckett led the Lady Bears with 10 points a piece. The Lady Bears travel to Cowan tonight looking for a bounce back win against the Blackhawks.

110 Gavin Swolveland, 132 Kaiden Smith and 220 Jaidan Long went 2-1 to lead the Golden Bears.
