Daily Announcements 03/16/2022

ALL library books are due by Thursday of this week. Those who do not return borrowed books will have a bill sent home. Thanks for promptly returning library materials! If you have any questions please stop by the library.

We would like to shout-out thanks to Mrs. Ulrey’s 1st, 3rd, and 5th-period Biology students for working hard to clean up all the debris around and inside the fence at Bear pond. Their efforts produced over 5 bags of trash! The Bear pond is a much nicer place for all the local wildlife. Great job and Thank you!

There will be no after school tutoring March 17th. We will resume after spring break.

Weightroom Announcement – We have recently seen an increase in students attempting to use the weightroom without adult supervision. The weightroom is open daily after school until 4:15 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Students should not be using the weightroom after that time unless accompanied by a coach. Just because a staff member is present working out doesn’t mean they are there to supervise students. Please utilize the facility during the hours intended for student use. Thank you!

Attention Juniors: The Randolph County Youth Salute application is now available. To qualify, a Junior must have served in a position of leadership in a school, church, or community sponsored organization during the last three years. Applications are available in student services, and they are due by March 17th, Spring Break. Interested students must ask a teacher or counselor for a recommendation.

There will be a cheerleading clinic to prepare for the 2022-23 cheerleading season from 4pm-6pm on April 11-14 in Hall Gym.

Cheer tryouts will be on April 15th in the Main Gym starting at 6pm. Cheer packets are in the office.

National Honor Society is hosting a Blood Drive on April 26, 2022. Sign up in Student Services.

SENIORS AND ANYONE GRADUATING WITH THE CLASS OF 2022: One baby photo and one current photo of each of you needs to be turned in for the graduation video. These must be submitted by Thursday, March 17th to goldenlensphoto21@gmail.com (Also, if you have any photos or videos of multiple members of the class of 2022 from any year K-12, you are encouraged to send these in as well).
