Daily Announcements 05/13/2022

Attention Seniors!! In order to put senior quotes in the yearbook, the yearbook staff needs ¾ of seniors to fill out the google form emailed to them from Ms. Walls. This must be completed by Friday, May 20th @ 3:05pm. If you don’t have a quote you can put your favorite memory at Monroe Central.

FFA members, we need your help serving tacos at the track meet on Friday night. The sign up sheet is on Mr. Weiler’s door. Sign up for a time slot.

Any student, freshman through junior, who is interested in being a Monroe Central Athletic Ambassador for the 2022-23 school year needs to pick up an application in the main office and return it to Mr. Burkett by no later than Friday, May 20th.

Prom News
***Last day to purchase prom bids/tickets is this Friday, May 13th. You will have until the end of D lunch to purchase them. They will still be available in the front office until then.
***Please bring your prom bid (The fancy ticket) with you the evening of prom. This will be the ticket you present to enter. You will NOT need the blue ticket stub as previously mentioned. Fancy tickets only will suffice.

Reminder to all students – we are still doing a 4th quarter grade challenge. Your name will be put in for a drawing for every grade that you improve (or keep an A) between the 3rd quarter and 4th quarter. Let’s finish the school year off strong!

Monroe Central will be hosting IHSAA sports physicals this June with Dr. Lumpkin. We have two dates available but will fill the June 9th date first before using the June 16th date. The cost is $20 and must be paid when signing up with Mrs. Murray in the HS office.

Last evening, the varsity boys baseball team defeated Randolph Southern by a score of 20-2. Caleb Snyder was the winning pitcher while also picking up 3 hits for MC. Lane Wilson, Joel Kennedy, and Cole Luedike each had two hits.
