Students in grades 9-12: Please check schoology and vote for 1 boy and 1 girl to represent your class for the Harvest Homecoming Court. No votes will be accepted after 3pm on Friday.

All high school students (grades 9-12) are invited to the Harvest Semi-Formal dance on Saturday, October 1st from 8pm-11pm. Cost of tickets will be $15 for couples and $8 for a single. Tickets can be purchased during lunch starting the week of September 26th and will also be sold at the door the night of the dance. If you plan on bringing a student from another school, please fill out a dance request form and have it returned to the office before September 30th.

If you are an Out of District student that received the Out of District form, please return the completed form to Mrs. Swift in Student Services as soon as possible.

7th and 8th grade students, candy bar sales have ended and money is due at this time.

The Girls’ Golf Team was defeated by Northeastern on Wednesday evening. Low for the Bears was Lauren Skinner. The Bears play Wes Del and Randolph Southern on Thursday at Hickory Hills.

The Jr High Cross Country teams were victorious in a dual meet against Selma Middle School Wednesday evening. The Girls team won with a score of 21 – 34. The Boys team placed first with a score of 26 – 29. Abby Thomas, Aberee Ervin, and Brylie Tinsman finished strong in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for the girls. Andi Watson ran well to finish 6th and Brynlee Patterson was 9th. Jackson Wines placed first in the boys race, followed by Alexander Coe in 4th and Jed Ferguson in 5th. Zadok Lloyd wasn’t far behind in 7th and Wyatt Daniels ran great to finish 9th.

The junior high football team lost last night to Shenandoah 20-8 after a hard fought battle. Going into the 4th quarter the Bears had the lead but they could not outlast the Raiders. The Golden Bears next game is against Muncie Southside on September 21st at home.
