There will be no after school tutoring today.
The girls and boys County Basketball Tournament will be held at Union City on January 4th-7th, 2023. Presale all session tickets are available until 4pm on January 4th in the high school office. All session tickets cost $15 and are good for all 4 nights of the tournament. Single session tickets purchased at the door will be $7.

The Varsity Boys Basketball Team started off strong against South Adams and led by 10 after the first quarter, but by halftime the Bears were only up 1. The 3rd quarter was back and forth but at the end of the quarter the bears were down 3. In the 4th quarter the Bears turned up the defense with some timely steals and some easy baskets which led to a 45-42 win. The Bears improved their record to 2-4 on the season. The Bears were led in scoring by Alden Mahaffey with 21, Josiah Cleveland added 4 steals, and Cole Munchel added 7 rebounds and 9 points.
ECIC Monroe Central Wrestling Results – Team finished 11th with only 6 wrestles. Hunter Page repeated as champion running his season record to 12-0, in addition he is yet to give up an offensive point against him. Kolten Tinsman finished 4th (2-2 on the day), Cade Goodrich finished 5th (4-1 on the day), Zac Martin finished 6th (3-2 on the day), Jacobe Butler DNP (1-2 on the day) and Clay Smith DNP (0-2 on the Day).
The Lady Bears lost to Eastern Hancock on a buzzer beater 13-12. Gracie Baker had 4 points. Aubrey Johnson, Avery Thomas, Sophia Bolton and Riu all had 2 points.
