Congratulations to the individuals that participated Wednesday night at the Area 7 4-H/FFA livestock skill-a-thon.
The junior team of Shyan Bennett, Max Wagner, and Hadley Hendrickson – 2nd of 6 jr. teams! Hadley was 3rd, Max 4th, and Shyan 8th – all in the top ten! The senior team of Gracie Lee, Kristin Northcutt, and Krystal Richman – 4th out of 19 Sr. teams! Gracie did a great job with 6th place overall senior out of 59 individuals! 12th was Kristin and 21st was Krystal! Way to go everyone!
Students in grades 9-12 interested in running for a class office or being a student council representative, message your class sponsor by Friday October 9 at 3 pm. If there is more than one student interested in the same position we will have to vote for the position. This year we will not be filling out the petitions. These are the class sponsors to get in touch with.

Calling all Randolph County High School Students and Staff! There will be a Blood Drive at the Randolph County YMCA on October 15, 2020 from 3:30-6:30pm. All donors will receive a special mask and be entered to win a $25 gift card!
The cross country teams traveled to Blue River Valley for the Mid-Eastern Conference Meet. Both boys and girls teams were crowned MEC Champions! The girls were led by freshmen Addison Coe, and Katie Osborne. All MEC for the girls were Addison Coe (2nd), Katie Osborne (5th), and Karly Puckett (11th). The boys were led by juniors Tucker Burris and Carter Miller in a phenomenal 1-2 punch! All MEC for the boys were Tucker Burris (1st), Carter Miller (2nd), Kyler Shumaker (6th), Caden Shumaker (9th), Caden Landis (11th), and Eli Chamberlain (12th). Tucker Burris lowers his school record to 16:16.70! The Bears will run in the IHSAA Delta Sectional Meet next Saturday, October 10th at The Muncie SportsPlex.

The Golden Bear Football team won Friday in a thriller over Eastern Hancock. The Bears won the game 28-21 keeping the team in the running for the first outright MEC conference championship. The team thrived in all three phases of the game. The team had just one turnover making the team total on the season 5 in 5 games. Averaging one per game. Next week’s game is at TEC rival Union County
