Reminder FFA members that fruit sales end today, Monday, Nov. 1st. Please turn in your sales forms today. Nut sales continue until Nov. 15th. Good luck getting a few more sales today!
There are applications for Sickels Christmas Tree Farm in the office. You need to be at least 16 years old to apply.
Jostens will be at the school on Thursday, November 4th during lunch and from 4:30-6pm to take student orders. Orders may be placed at either time with a deposit. If you are a freshman, sophomore, or senior and you did not attend the meeting on Wednesday in Hall Gym, please pick up an order form in the office. Extra order forms are in the office if needed. In addition, freshmen and sophomores who missed the meeting need to sign the commitment to graduate banner. We will have these available to sign in the cafeteria at lunch on Thursday & Friday. After that, they will be hung up in the hallway.
Archery practice will be at the elementary school on Tuesdays starting on November 2nd. The JH and HS will practice from 5:15-6:45pm.
There will be a Winter Percussion Informational Meeting on Monday, Nov. 1st at 7:00pm in the Band Room. All interested should attend with a parent. No experience necessary, all skill levels and abilities are welcome.
Purdue Polytechnic Anderson’s annual Black And Gold Day will be November 12th. This event is limited to juniors and seniors only that would have an interest in Engineering Technology, Information Technology or Aviation Technology programs. For more information on being recommended for this opportunity, see Mrs. Swift or Mrs. Moran in Student Services.
High School National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive on Friday, November 12th. You can sign up in Student Services. If you are 16 years old, you will need to pick up a parental consent form in Student Services. If you are 17 years old or older, you can sign up without parental consent.
The Golden Bear football team lost at South Adams last Friday night 6-3. The game was hard fought in wet conditions. “Kicking Bear” Elijah Taylor scored the only points of the night, going 1 for two on field goal attempts. Many thanks to all that made the season special. The team ended the season as the first ever undefeated conference champions in school history. Thanks to our ten seniors (Gavin Smithson-Burciaga, Jonah Jones, Joel Kennedy, Jackson Ullom, Alex Anderson, Mitchell Moles, Brady Hiatt, Ben Miner, Caleb Snyder,and Rhody Braun).
