National Honor Society Initiation Service is Tuesday, Nov 3rd, at 7 PM in the main gym.
Any high school student interested in competing in Poetry Out Loud this year needs to contact Mrs. Braswell on Schoology or in person this week.
The Student Council will have a donation box in the office for Secret Families. Please bring in wrapping paper and tape. Thank you and Go Bears!
MACC students: This is your reminder that, tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3, is an e-learning day for Muncie Community Schools and most MACC programs. The exceptions to this are Cosmetology, second-year Automotive, and second-year Welding, which will operate according to the normal schedule at their typical locations. All other MACC students will not report to school but are expected to participate in class WebEx meetings and complete their e-learning work.
Every Friday from now until the 13th the student council will be hosting a hat/crazy sock day for $1 to raise money for Secret Families.
Archery practice for the JH and HS will start on November 11th from 5:15-6:45pm at the elementary.
November 9th and 16th will be PJ days for $1 to raise money for Secret Families.
There are applications for Sickels Christmas Tree Farm in the office.
Any High School student interested in honoring our MC Alumni who have served in the Armed Forces, please contact Mr. Ferguson or Max Bradley. We have started a Military Honor Wall Group, with the goal of building a Memorial Wall to publicly recognize all of our MC Veterans. We need your help in contacting alumni, and recruiting the support of local businesses.
The varsity football team was beaten this past Friday 48-7 by South Adams. The Starfires were responsible for the two losses the Bears had this season. Thanks to all the players, their families and our administration for helping the season happen. A special finally thanks to our four seniors Max “Hunter” Bradley, Jacob Keith, Khaner Phillips and Landon Patterson. Go Bears!
