Anchor Club collected over 680 pairs of socks this Socktober to go to the Journey Home and the Parker City Nursing Home! Thank you to all who donated and special thanks to Anchor Club members Karly Puckett, Will Hochstetler, Cole Luedicke, Maggie Haney, and Addison Coe who helped collect socks this past Saturday at the Family Dollar and Dollar General in Parker City!
There will be a callout meeting for Academic Team during LITE on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 outside of room 114. If you have any questions, message Mrs. Smiley.
The MC Academy is sponsoring a Food Drive during the month of November and start of December with all food items being donated for Christmas food assistance through the Rex Amburn Memorial Food Drive within the MC Community. This year’s annual food drive will be a COMPETITION between grades 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and the teachers & staff.
–This year the teachers & staff will have a box to contribute toward the competition.
–You need to bring in the listed item of the day to get a point for that day.
–For each food item you donate to your grade’s box your class will receive one (1) point.
–For each dollar you donate to your grade’s jar your class will receive one (1) point.
–If you donate an item that is not on the list for that day to another grade’s box they will lose a point.
–The class with the most points will win a prize for each student.

We will have tutoring every Tuesday and Thursday night after school. Mrs. Van Pelt will tutor on Tuesdays and Mr. Hartle will tutor on Thursdays. Any questions, see Mrs. Swift in Student Services.
The Lady Bears opened their season on Saturday night on the road at Frankton. Frankton handed the Bears their first loss of the season, 57-22. Sydney Patterson and Addy Puckett led the offense combining for 12 of the 22 points. The Lady Bears are back in action Tuesday night @ Daleville.
