Change to our Theater Club Call Out!
Anyone interested in finding out more about the Theater/Drama Club please come to our first call out meeting. We will be discussing what we will be doing for the rest of the semester and possibilities for next semester. Any student from 7th-12th grade is eligible to participate.
We will be having a GOOGLE MEET this coming Wednesday, 11/11/20 during study hall starting at 9:50 am. If you have any questions please reach out to Mrs. Giordano or Mrs. Shrack. We look forward to seeing you at the call out meeting.
Seniors: There will be a Financial Aid Presentation and FAFSA Completion event tonight at 6pm in the MCHS cafeteria. If you are interested in post-secondary education, you MUST fill out the FAFSA. Please plan to attend this event if you need help filling it out. You will need to bring a parent, 2019 tax information, driver’s license, bank statement, and social security number.
The Student Council will have a donation box in the office for Secret Families. Please bring in wrapping paper and tape. Thank you and Go Bears!
On Friday the student council will be hosting a hat/crazy sock day for $1 to raise money for Secret Families.
November 16th will be a PJ day for $1 to raise money for Secret Families.
Archery practice for the JH and HS will start on November 11th from 5:15-6:45pm at the elementary.
There are applications for Sickels Christmas Tree Farm in the office.
Any High School student interested in honoring our MC Alumni who have served in the Armed Forces, please contact Mr. Ferguson or Max Bradley. We have started a Military Honor Wall Group, with the goal of building a Memorial Wall to publicly recognize all of our MC Veterans. We need your help in contacting alumni, and recruiting the support of local businesses.
Mask Wearing – I believe that we have done a good job of trying to remind students of the importance of wearing masks. Unfortunately, we have students who still simply won’t comply with what we are asking. My direction to teachers from this point forward will be to give one friendly reminder and if that doesn’t fix it, then they should write you up. Students who fail to comply will likely then be assigned detention. This is a silly reason to get detention, but we have to be more vigilant now than ever. Please help us out and follow the safety precautions. Thank you!
