Junior high and high school fall sports awards will be tonight at 6:30pm in the Main Gym. Please enter through door #2.
The Junior High Student Council will be sponsoring a hat day this Friday, November 12. Donate a dollar and wear your favorite hat to school all day Friday. All donations will go to the Muncie Animal Rescue Fund known as “ARF.”
Poetry Ourselves is a statewide original poetry competition for students in grades 9-12. Whether you write lyrics to music or write sonnets about nature, young people like you have important things to say. The Indiana Arts Commission wants to celebrate your poetry through our Poetry Ourselves program. Any student who is interested in submitting a poem to Poetry Ourselves needs to contact Mrs. Braswell on Schoology or in person as soon as possible.
Purdue Polytechnic Anderson’s annual Black And Gold Day will be November 12th. This event is limited to juniors and seniors only that would have an interest in Engineering Technology, Information Technology or Aviation Technology programs. For more information on being recommended for this opportunity, see Mrs. Swift or Mrs. Moran in Student Services.
High School National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive on Friday, November 12th. You can sign up in Student Services. If you are 16 years old, you will need to pick up a parental consent form in Student Services. If you are 17 years old or older, you can sign up without parental consent.
The Lady Bears handled Daleville Tuesday night with a 52-24 win. Macy Shinn and Addy Puckett lead the bears offensively with 11 points each. The bear defense made a stand in the 3rd quarter only allowing the Broncos to score 1 point. The bears were able to extend their lead and never looked back. The bears are now 1-1 and will play Burris Saturday morning at 11 am in the Bear Den.
