Daily Announcements 11/18/2021

Congratulations to the varsity quiz bowl team which defeated conference opponent Kings Academy Tuesday night by a score of 110-80. The team competes next in their league championship tournament on December 4th at Indiana Wesleyan University.

The area forestry and crops CDEs were held Thursday, Nov. 11 at The Wayne County Fairgrounds.

One of the forestry teams that competed consisted of: Gracie Lee, Zach Lee, Krystal Richman, and Madalyn Friend, they placed fourth and will advance to state on Dec. 11th. Gracie Lee placed fourth individually. Our other team of forestry consisted of: Clay Smith, Julia Smith, and Kristin Northcutt, they tied for 8th place. Good job to all our forestry competitors!

Crops participants included Andi Watson who placed 2nd in the junior division, and the senior participants of Jack Cooper, Brayden Swift, Zach Martin, Rigley Braun, and Colten Johnson who placed third. They are eligible for the state contest on Dec. 11 at Purdue.

Class of 2026: Wick’s Pies will be delivered on Friday, November 19! If you ordered pies, they will be available for pick up between 3:05 – 5 p.m. on Friday by the high school office doors. Please let your parents know!

FFA Members – There will be a Chapter Meeting Thursday, November 18th, at 5 pm in the Ag shop. If you plan on attending please sign up on the Ag room door.

Class of 2026: Don’t forget your money and tumbler order forms are due this Friday, November 19th to Mrs. Willmann (room 141).

The Junior High Student Council will be sponsoring a jersey day this Friday, 19 Dec. Donate a dollar and wear your favorite jersey to school all day Friday. All donations will go to the Muncie Animal Rescue Fund known as “ARF.”
