Daily Announcements 12/02/2024

There will be a blood drive at the high school on December 3, 2024 from 9:00am – 12:00pm. Please scan the code on the flyers that are posted around the school or see Mrs. Ulrey to sign up.

After school tutoring will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4pm in room 115 or 118.

The weight room will be open for students after school on Monday through Thursday each week from 3:15-4:15pm. 

5 Star Driver Education is offering driver education. Stop by the office to pick up an information sheet or go to www.fivestardrivered.com

The boys JV Golden Bears lost against Winchester 50-47. The team was led in scoring by Cohen West with 10 and he was followed by Chandler Breedlove with 9. 

The varsity boys basketball team won against Winchester 73-58. The Golden Bears were led in scoring by Easton Foster with 32 who was followed by Luke Morgan with 16. 5 other Golden Bears scored as well. 

The JV boys basketball team lost against Northeastern 51-49. The Golden Bears were led in scoring by Cohen West with 27. The JV boys look to pick up their first win this coming Friday against Daleville. 

The varsity boys basketball team traveled to Northeastern and lost the game 66-43. The boys look to bounce back this coming Friday against Daleville.

The Lady Bears traveled to Northeastern on Saturday afternoon and suffered a 50-35 defeat. Monroe Central is now 4-2 on the season and will host Union City at home on Wednesday night. Abe Ervin led the Bears with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Maleigh Ervin followed with 12 points and 4 rebounds.
