We will have a Crazy Christmas Dress Up day this Friday. Pay $1 and wear your best Christmas attire! Money collected will be given to the Rex Amburn food drive.

After school tutoring will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4pm in room 115 or 118.

The weight room will be open for students after school on Monday through Thursday each week from 3:15-4:15pm. 

5 Star Driver Education is offering driver education. Stop by the office to pick up an information sheet or go to www.fivestardrivered.com

Your Lady Golden Bears wrestling team traveled to Muncie Central. Competing in a round robin of sorts against Eastbrook, Shelbyville, Marion, Yorktown, Cowan and Muncie Central.  Raegan Quattlebaum went 4-0, Chelsea Erwin went 2-0, Kaira Lawrence finished 2-1, and Melissa Rice continues to improve and battling in every match finished 0-3.  Your Lady Bears will be grappling up at Peru HS this Saturday.

Your Golden Bears wrestling team defeated the Blackford Bruins 54-18.  Winners @120 Lane Whitehead, 126 Grant Linville, 132 Tyler Erwin, 144 Cory Brown Jr, 150 Landon Tinsman.  Winners by pin-fall 138 Eli King, 157 Kaden Sullivan, 165 Christian Erwin, 175 Jerimiah Ullom.  Your Golden Bear grapplers will travel to Connersville to battle the Spartans next Monday.

The 7th grade girls traveled to Shenandoah Tuesday evening and got a hard fought win 36-19. Ada Wagner, Gracie McCreery and Mati McConnell had solid floor games while the Bears were led in scoring by Claire Cheeseman 10, Izzy McGrath 9, Mila Morris 7, Bristol Goad 4 and Lillie Moery, Landry Taylor and Brynlee Dumpert had 2 apiece. The ladies will be home Thursday against Daleville.

The 8th grade Lady Bears traveled to Shenandoah on Tuesday evening and beat the quarter counting Raiders by committee in an exciting 36-26 overtime victory. The Lady Bears were led in effort by Lucy Huston, who played all 4 quarters and overtime, tallying a multitude of steals, deflections and jump ball tie ups to go along with 8 points. Izzy McGrath had 9 points, Claire Cheesman had 8 points including back to back three pointers. Mila Morris had 6 points. Brynlee Dumpert and Landry Taylor both added 4 points and Elena Simms and Gracie McCreery added 2 each.  Bristol Goad, Ada Wagner, Mati McConnell, Arianna Carroll and Evangelina Arrington all played well and contributed to the win with their defense. Great effort was given by all 13 girls that saw floor time, Go Bears!
