For just $1, you can ditch the traditional school attire and swap it for your favorite festive PJs. That’s right, we’re giving you the chance to roll out of bed and head straight to school in comfort while supporting a great cause! (Just remember to follow the school’s dress code!)

There will be a “Mental Health Monday Bowling Night” on December 16th from 6-8pm at the Winchester Bowl ~ 960 E Washington Street, Winchester, IN 47394. This is free for Randolph County Teens in grades 8th – 12th.
After school tutoring will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4pm in room 115 or 118.
The weight room will be open for students after school on Monday through Thursday each week from 3:15-4:15pm.

The 7th grade Lady Bears played a matinee game yesterday in the Den and defeated Cambridge City Lincoln 45-7. All 10 Bears contributed to the victory, with Mati McConnell leading in scoring with 11, Mila Morris 7, Izzy McGrath, Claire Cheesman and Brynlee Dumpert 6, Lillie Moery 4, Gracie McCreery 3 and Landry Taylor 2. Ada Wagner and Bristol Goad played shut down defense. The Bears next game will be home Thursday against Northeastern.
The 8th grade Lady Bears played host to Lincoln on Tuesday evening and sent a feisty Lady Eagles team home with their wings clipped and tail feathers plucked – beating the visitors 37-8 and remaining undefeated at home this season. The Bears led 12-0 at the end of the first thanks in part to Landry “Flash” Taylor’s 8 first quarter points, most coming off of steals and lighting fast breaks. Landry Taylor led all scorers with 11, Izzy McGrath had 8 and Lucy Huston added 6. Brynlee “The Instigator” Dumpert had 4, Gracie McCreery and Elena Simms had 3 each and Evangelina Arrington got her first bucket of the season. Bristol Goad and Arianna Carroll both played tough and contributed to the win. The Lady Bears improve their record to 6-1 and play host to Northeastern on Thursday night. GO BEARS!!!
Monroe Central wrestling lost to Tri High 30-46 forfeiting 3 weights classes which in-turn gave them 18 points and the win. Winning by pin and running their season records to 3-0 Freshman Eli King and Sophomores Grant Linville, Cory Brown Jr and Christian Erwin. Also winning by Pin in just :26 seconds Senior Landon Tinsman. In reserve matches freshman Canyon Burks and sophomore Caden Shockney both won by pin in dominant fashion. In addition to winning and earning her 21st win and 21st pin this season was Sophomore Raegan Quattlebaum. Your Golden Bears are back in action this Saturday as the Varsity goes to the Tom Hill invite at Richmond and the Reserves will compete at Alexandria JV Invite.
