CONGRATULATIONS to Elijah Taylor for scoring a perfect math score on his SAT! This puts him in the 99th percentile of students across the nation. Way to go Elijah!
There will be no volleyball tonight.
Monroe Central will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday, May 20th, from 9 AM to 1 PM. Please sign up in Student Services as soon as possible. This will be held on the mobile bus. Students must be 16 years old or older to give blood. If you’re 16 years old, you will need to complete the release form; if 17 years or older, you can sign up! Please help make this event happen. Sign up today in Student Services.
Students going to prom – if you are bringing a student from another school or someone who has graduated, please make sure to fill out a dance request form. Also, they will need to bring their drivers license or photo ID with them to prom.
The class “21” picture will now be taken Friday at 12:20. All seniors and early grads please wear your senior shirt to the picture. We will take the picture in main gym. Lip sync, homecoming games, and pep session will follow.
The homecoming dress up day for Friday is: Crazy Brown and Gold Day
Friday, May 7th the Greenhouse plant sale will begin after school at 2:45.
Pick up for the FFA Chicken Dinner held on Thursday, May 6th will be outside of door 6 right by the track meet. Pick-up will be from 3-7 and there will be a limited number of meals sold at the door.
The Jr. High Track teams faced Hagerstown and Driver in a 3-way meet Wednesday Night. The Boys team placed 1st and the girls placed 2nd!

Reminders:
Masks need to be worn at all times covering both your mouth and your nose except for when eating or drinking. By doing so, contact tracing becomes more minimized.
Hats and hoods should not be worn anywhere in the building. Hats should be left in lockers during the school day.
As we approach warmer weather, it’s important that students revisit the dress code in the student handbook to make sure that they dress appropriately for school.
Teachers have been directed to refer violators to administration for possible disciplinary consequences.
