Daily Announcements 9/11/2020

Attention All Students: The 2020 yearbooks have arrived, and they will be distributed during 6th period and 8th periods this Friday. Virtual students and last year’s seniors will be able to pick their books up next week. Thank you for your patience. We are working hard to get the books to you while at the same time respecting the rules of social distancing and avoiding long lines and congregations of students.

Attention Career Center Students Who Bought a Yearbook: You may stop by Ms. Barton’s room, room 108 today during study hall to get your yearbook.

Cadet Teachers: If you bought a yearbook, please pick it up at Mrs. Thompson’s office when you sign out today.

The Farmland Conservation Club is offering a Hunter Education Course beginning on September 15, 2020. The course includes three days of instruction on the 15th, 17th, and 19th. Times for the 15th and 17th are 6:30-8:30 p.m. and on the 19th from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. If you are interested in more information, we have fliers in the main office that can be picked up.

FCA will be starting today during Study Hall on Google Meet. It will be from 9:50-10:20. KP will share the Google Meet Code in the FCA Schoology Group.

Any junior high or high school student interested in joining Allies this year needs to contact Mrs. Braswell on Schoology sometime this week.

Calling all Randolph County High School Students and Staff! There will be a Blood Drive at the Randolph County YMCA on October 15, 2020 from 3:30-6:30pm. All donors will receive a special mask and be entered to win a $25 gift card!

7th grade volleyball lost @ Union City in 3 sets 25-22, 21-25, 11-15. The absolute best match these girls have played all year! The 8th grade volleyball team lost @Union City in 2 sets 14-25, 12-25. Both teams play at home Monday against Cowan.

The Monroe Central Girls’ Golf Team defeated Wes Del 210-223 and Randolph Southern 210-234 at Hickory Hills (par 36) Thursday night. The Bears improve their record to 3-6-1. They play Daleville and Wapahani at Hickory Hills Tuesday to finish the regular season. Tied for low medalist Lydia Price:49, Other scores: Bailey Jester:50, Brandy Jester:51, Hannah Keeley:60.
