Daily Announcements 9/15/2020
The Golden Bear football team won convincingly at Northeastern Friday night 49-0. The bears had a record setting night and played a complete game. The Bear’s had only one turnover for a total of two through two games. We play at South Adams this Friday.
Attention All Students: If you have not picked up your yearbook yet, please see Ms. Barton in room 108. Also, if you were not able to buy a book last year extra books will be for sale beginning Monday. Stay tuned during daily announcements this week for more information about the price of the books and special deals and discounts!
Attention All High School Students: Do you want a bigger and better yearbook next year? If so, Ms. Barton is looking for writers and photographers to join the yearbook staff. If you are interested, pick up an application in Ms. Barton’s classroom, room 108 in the junior high wing. In order to be considered for staff, you must have a 3.0 grade point average, two teacher references, and be willing to meet with Ms. Barton and other staff members after school on gold days at least once a week or during study hall, OR during your sixth period class as long as you have your teacher’s permission. You do NOT have to have your own camera to be a photographer.
FFA members and anyone looking to join FFA there will be a Chapter Meeting Thursday, September 17 at 5 pm in Mr. Weiler’s room. Refreshments will be provided, we hope to see you there.
Calling all Randolph County High School Students and Staff! There will be a Blood Drive at the Randolph County YMCA on October 15, 2020 from 3:30-6:30pm. All donors will receive a special mask and be entered to win a $25 gift card!
