After school tutoring has started back up! Tutoring will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 4:15.
Anyone that was in Student Council last school year that would like to run for an office needs to message Mrs. Van Pelt or Mrs. Haney by Friday at 2:45pm. These are the offices you may run for:
President Elect – Must be a current junior
Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
Sgt. at Arms – “donut person”
NOTE: this is different than Class Officers and Class Representatives
Attention All High School Students: Do you want a bigger and better yearbook next year? If so, Ms. Barton is looking for writers and photographers to join the yearbook staff. If you are interested, pick up an application in Ms. Barton’s classroom, room 108 in the junior high wing. In order to be considered for staff, you must have a 3.0 grade point average, two teacher references, and be willing to meet with Ms. Barton and other staff members after school on gold days at least once a week or during study hall, OR during your sixth period class as long as you have your teacher’s permission. You do NOT have to have your own camera to be a photographer.
FFA members and anyone looking to join FFA there will be a Chapter Meeting Thursday, September 17 at 5 pm in Mr. Weiler’s room. Refreshments will be provided, we hope to see you there.
Calling all Randolph County High School Students and Staff! There will be a Blood Drive at the Randolph County YMCA on October 15, 2020 from 3:30-6:30pm. All donors will receive a special mask and be entered to win a $25 gift card!

Junior High Volleyball Results from last night: 7th grade volleyball lost at Hagerstown 20-25, 18-25. 8th grade volleyball lost at Hagerstown 22-25, 20-25. Both teams play again Thursday night at Driver.
The Jr High Cross Country teams ran in a 4 way meet at Muncie Southside Tuesday evening. The boys team came in 1st and the girls team 2nd by only 1 point. Easton Foster lead the boys team, coming in 4th overall. Lane Dance was only 11 seconds behind, coming in 5th. Max Wagner ran strong to come in 23rd place. The girls were lead by Avery Thomas, coming in 4th overall. Makennah Chamness was our 6th runner, finishing 11th overall. Great job Bears!
The Monroe Central Girls’ Golf team was defeated by Daleville 201 -185 and to Wapahani 201 -196 Tuesday evening at Hickory Hills Golf Club. This is the lowest team score of the season. They finish the regular season 3-8-1. Scores: Brandy Jester:49, Bailey Jester:46, Price: 51, Keeley:55 (personal best). The girls will compete at the Muncie Central Sectional on Saturday at Crestview.
