Daily Announcements 9/27/2021

The FCA has Fields of Faith permission forms in the office. The event will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at the Muncie Central football field. The bus will leave the school at 6pm.

Seniors: It’s that time of year, Mrs. Swift is getting ready to place the diploma orders. All Seniors and Early Grads stop by Student Services at your earliest convenience to verify the spelling of your full birth given name. (10/1)

All student drivers are required to have a parking pass and updated driver information in the office. If you have not filled out a new form or need a parking pass please be sure to pick one up in the office. There is a form that needs to be filled out and signed and the cost of a pass is $5.
Students who do not have parking passes could have discipline or parking privileges revoked!
Student Drivers must have a pass by Friday, October 1.

The boys’ and girls’ varsity cross country teams competed in the New Haven Classic on Friday. Even with a very wet course, the boys placed 1st with a score of 41. Burris led the way getting 2nd and Miller followed placing 3rd. Also running well was Chamberlain 7th, Shumaker 10th and Landis 20th. The girls also ran well on a challenging and wet course placing 5th. Coe led the girls with a strong 6th place finish and Osborne also ran well placing 19th. Karly and Addy Puckett, Gaddis, and Ferguson also had very strong performances. Also, a big congratulations to Easton Foster and Julia Smith for getting their personal record on Saturday! The Bears will run County on Tuesday at home, starting with the boys running at 5:00!

The Golden Bear football team won at home last Friday night, 55-0 over Wes-Del, to retain the Harvest Helmet Trophy which will be on display in the lunch room. The Golden Bears were led by the defense and strong kicking game. The team is ranked 3rd in 1A and are at Eastern Hancock for a big MEC match up this Friday night. The Bear’s have 5 turnovers through 6 games…. with zero fumbles lost! Important stat to watch…. Thanks to all that came to the game, especially the “Bear Club” cheer block!
