MCHS Lockdown Update – April 8, 2021

This morning Monroe Central Jr./Sr. High School was placed on a preventive lockdown.

Law enforcement notified the administration, based upon credible information, that a student at MCHS was in possession of a loaded handgun magazine.

Following a thorough investigation the magazine was located and the student responsible has been dealt with.

Monroe Central School Corporation is grateful for all law enforcement officers that responded.
