Official Statement – November 4, 2020
A senior has tested positive for COVID-19 at Monroe Central Jr./Sr. High School. As a result several students and staff members are being quarantined. Contact tracing is complete and personal phone class have been made to all parents of close contacts.
Today’s positive case is in addition to yesterday’s Jr. High student that was reported.
Currently, Monroe Central has 62 students and 10 staff members in quarantine. The following is a breakdown of students in quarantine: 8 are a close contact of a known positive outside of the school district; 51 are close contacts to a known positive at school; 4 have symptoms or are waiting on a test result.
