Welcome to Monroe Central Elementary School!
Hello, MCE families! I hope summer has gotten off to a great start and you are enjoying your time together! I am already looking forward to the upcoming school year and can’t wait to see all of our Golden Bears! We will be welcoming even more Cub Academy preschoolers and their families and will continue growing in greatness all next year! This year, we are only offering online registration. Registration will be “live” on July 1st and is available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Online forms can be filled out at your convenience. While you should be able to fulfill all of the necessary parts of registration through the online portal, if you have issues, you can call our office at (765) 468-7725 after July 22, 2024. Our office staff will be happy to walk you through any issues to get the problem resolved. All of your registration resources are located on our website at www.monroecentral.org/registration-elementary. You can read through the instructions, or if you’re ready, you can click on the “Get Started!” tab. The following services are available through the registration process: updating demographic information, parent information, and updating medical information. Additional forms, including free or reduced lunch are also available online. We encourage parents who feel they may qualify for free or reduced assistance to fill out the application form as it is required each year. Some people are reluctant to do this, but it really helps the school when students who qualify complete the forms. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to contact me. If you have an out-of-district student, you will need to click on the “Out of District Transfer Application” link and then wait to hear from me with approval to register. Once approved, you will use the “New Student Registration Link!” on the elementary registration page to complete registration.
Any hard copy forms can be returned to us during our normal business hours, mailed to us at Monroe Central Elementary, 10421 W SR 32, Parker City, IN 47368, or sent with your child on the first day of school. We will also send hard copy forms to students who we haven’t collected from
during the first week of school. Remember, if you have questions regarding registration, you can contact us in the office, beginning on July 22, 2024. Our number is (765) 468-7725.
NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT INFORMATION!!!!
If you have a new student to Monroe Central Elementary, you can use the “New Student Registration Link!” tab on the elementary registration page to register online, or if you would rather, you can contact our elementary office for in-person registration beginning July 22, 2024. For now, keep enjoying your summer, grab a book occasionally and read a little, and HAVE FUN! Parents, cherish this time with your child – it goes by so quickly, but the memories will last forever!
