Daily Announcements 04/16/2024

Help raise money for the 2024 MC 6K Water Project! Students in grades PK-12 will be competing in Money Wars where students may drop money in plastic containers during their lunch time. This will continue until Friday, April 26. The grade level that brings in the most money will earn a pizza party courtesy of the Farmland and Parker Fire Departments. Last year, there were two winning grade levels and those students chose to donate the pizza money back to World Vision in lieu of the pizza party.

The Indiana Youth Advisory Board (IYAB) is now accepting applications! The IYAB offers young people, ages 14-24, an opportunity to learn about public health issues and come up with ideas and projects to improve the health and well-being of other young people in Indiana. Members of IYAB meet virtually with their peers for at least two hours each month to work on collaborative, creative, youth-driven initiatives related to mental health, public health, and their interests. Positions on the board are paid, and an application is required. Youth can apply via the link provided. https://forms.office.com/g/a0xbExLvUe  The application deadline is April 19, 2024.
