Free/Reduced Breakfast, Lunch and Textbook Rental Update

Due to the USDA Waiver Option, all students will receive free breakfast and lunch again this school year. HOWEVER, this has NOTHING to do with Textbook Rental & Fee costs. An application MUST still be submitted to see if you qualify for eligibility to pay only the Fee portion of the Textbook Rental & Fees.

If you think there is any chance that you would be eligible to receive the Free or Reduced eligibility for TBR Assistance, please go ahead and fill out the application. It doesn’t take long at all and the worst that can happen is you receive a letter saying you are not eligible. No harm done.

Did you know that being approved for Free/Reduced eligibility provides more than just assistance with meals and TBR for our students? Did you know that the higher our percentage of Free/Reduced Eligibility our school corporation has, the more it helps our students in the whole Corporation? The higher the percentages the better our chances are to receive additional resources from the State and Federal Government Programs such as Technology Grants, Title I Grants, etc.
